GE will supply a range of subsea equipment, including the latest deepwater tree connectors, to drive oil production at the Kizomba Satellites development, located in Block 15 in the south eastern Atlantic Ocean. The new Kizomba Satellites offshore project links to the existing Kizomba A and B production facilities offshore Angola.
The OLGA trainer will be used for training of operators and engineers in understanding the dynamics of Kizomba multiphase pipelines, subsea wells and production systems. This includes the subsea components (production wells and injection wells, production and test flowlines, templates and subsea equipment, as well as inlet processing facilities associated with the Kizomba Satellite project.
The OLGA Production System Trainer is based on the industry standard OLGA multiphase flow simulator platform interfaced with control system emulation, using the INDISS software from one of SPT Group’s dynamic process simulator partners RSI.
OLGA has been used in more than 160 integrated simulators worldwide over the last decade. The Production System Trainer will be used for operator training, including control system familiarisation, running through operating procedures and preparation for start-up of the production system.
