The Nigerian Pipelines and Storage Company (NPSC) Limited has invited the petroleum companies to participate in the upcoming bid round for the conversion of loading facilities from analogue to digital at its Port Harcourt, Enugu, Aba, Kano and Jos Depots

In a statement, NPSC has urged the interested bidders to submit pre-qualification documentation by 31 August 2017.

The scope of work will include inspection of existing facilities, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning and training.

NPSC said that the new loading system will be integrated and linked to a computer at the control room, aiming to carry out the work with minimal disruptions to daily loading operations. In addition, new loading preset controllers, load printers, loading arms, meters, truck grounding system etc will be installed as replacement for obsolete facilities.

The contract will be awarded on LOT bases, with a maximum of two LOTS per one company, which means that the bidders can submit a maximum bid for two LOTS, said NPSC.

According to the company, original equipment manufacturers (OEM), OEM country representatives or affiliate and other companies with previous and in-depth experience in procurement, installation and commissioning of petroleum products truck loading systems can apply for the bid.

The interested bidders have to submit the full details of company profile with certificate of incorporation in Nigeria, company tax clearance certificate for the last three years, certified true copies of MoU and or any other legal documentation as proof of only Nigerian registered companies or foreign companies in partnership with Nigeria, minimum Turnover of US$700,000 and net worth of US$830,000 for the financial year ending of 2016.

The prospective companies should submit relevant documents for pre-qualification in one original and two hard copies and one electronic copy (CD ROM).

NPSC further added that the late submission will not be considered and will be rejected.
