Bolloré Africa Logistics has joined forces with the countrys ports and railways company, CFM, to inaugurate Mozambiques first oil port in the city of Pemba

Situated around 1,700km northeast of the capital Maputo, Pemba Terminal is the first oil port to be constructed in the country, Bolloré revealed.

Philippe Labonne, managing director of Bolloré Africa Logistics, stated, “Pemba Terminal will mean security for oil and gas companies, which will benefit from high-quality infrastructure, while at the same time equip Mozambique with the resources to achieve its energy development."

Bolloré Africa supports logistics for drilling and extraction projects across southern Africa and has established itself as an effective network covering the country’s entire territory with subsidiaries in major cities such as Maputo, Beira, Pemba and Tete.
