Italy-based electrohydraulic component manufacturer Atos has launched a new TEB proportional valve to provide precise control of position, velocity, pressure and force with post-movement damping characteristics
An electrohydraulic valve is an electrically operated valve that controls how hydraulic fluid is ported to an actuator. An actuator is a type of motor responsible for moving or controlling a mechanism or system.
According to the manufacturer, Atos hydraulic and electronic components are designed and manufactured to obtain full consistency through a modular concept by using a limited number of fully tested parts. Most hydraulic components have a cartridge design, which results in high versatility in systems assembly and easy service on the field.
TEB proportionals features include — digital performance, rugged design against vibrations and shocks of up to 50g, factory preset on board electronics, reference signal of ±10 V or 4-20 mA, extended temperature range from -40°C to +60°C, water and powder proof and maximum operating pressure at 350 bar.
