Africa Oilfield Logistics’ subsidiary Ardan Risk & Support Services has acquired a 20 per cent interest in Energy Resources Group (ERG) Africa Limited, a provider of onshore and offshore safety training for oil and gas professionals

Andrew Groves, director of Africa Oilfield Logistics, said, “Ardan Risk & Support Services’ acquisition further strengthens the company’s competitive product offering as it continues to affirm its position as a leading support services and logistics company in Africa.”

Groves added that with more than 30 years operational experience and an established client base, ERG represented a compelling investment opportunity. Ardan Risk & Support Services already has provisions of international standard medical support services, both on-site and through medical evacuation in Africa, a company press release stated.

Ardan Risk & Support Services is focussed on maximising cross-selling opportunities with ERG in order to further extend Africa Oilfield Logistics’ reach, capitalise upon the current hydrocarbon and mineral boom in East Africa and generate long term revenue streams for the group,” Groves said.

ERG’s state-of-the-art onshore and offshore training provision centre is located in the Westlands district of Nairobi, Kenya.
