Addax Petroleum announced that it has been allowed to borrow BW Offshore’s floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel for an extended period of time
Under the agreement, the FPSO Sendje Berge will now be used offshore Nigeria by the Africa-focussed oil and gas exploration firm until the end of the Q1 2014.
BW Offshore, a Norwegian oilfield services firm, said that the extension has been agreed to secure operatorship continuity.
Sendje Berge has an oil processing capacity of 50,000 bpd and a storage capacity of two million barrels.
