Engineer Adeyemi Adetunji, is now the chief operating officer, upstream, to the Ventures & Business Development Directorate as chief operating officer, a position held earlier by Roland Onoriode Ewubare, who voluntary retired recently

Also affected was Billy Okoye, who was redeployed as managing director of NNPC Downstream Company, NNPC Retail Limited, to replace Tombomieye as group general manager, Crude Oil Marketing Division; while Elizabeth Aliyuda, general manager, sales and marketing, NNPC Retail Limited, takes over as managing director from Sir Okoye.

Similarly, Usman Farouk, executive director asset management and technical services at the Nigeria Gas company takes over from Ahmed as managing director.

The release also explained that the government has accepted the resignation of Roland Ewubare, who was the immediate past chief operating officer, ventures and new business directorate of the National Oil Company and also the retirement of the chief operating officer, corporate services, and Engineer Farouk Garba Said

Speaking on the development, group managing director of the corporation, Mallam Mele Kyari, said the new appointments would allow the corporation to live up to the expectations of its shareholders, Nigerians, and give impetus to ongoing restructuring within the corporation, which, he said, was in line with the corporate vision of Transparency, Accountability & Performance Excellence (TAPE).
