CAMAC: Early Commencement of Oyo well intervention

CAMAC has been notified by its partner, Nigerian Agip Exploration (NAE), that the well intervention planned on the Oyo #5 well, located in the Oyo Field located offshore Nigeria, is scheduled to commence on December 4, 2010 with the mobilization of the Transocean Marianas to the field.

Africa Oil to take reins at Centric Energy

Africa Oil has signed a definitive agreement to acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Centric. Pursuant to the agreement, Africa Oil will acquire, by way of a plan of arrangement, all of the issued and outstanding shares of Centric in consideration for 0.3077 Africa Oil shares (and $0.0001) for each common share of Centric.
