Libya has announced that its oil output has climbed to 620,000 barrels per day (bpd) following the recommencing of production from the El Sharara and El Feel oilfields

Mustafa Sanalla, a National Oil Corporation (NOC) executive board member, said the output from the El Sharara field has hit approximately 300,000 bpd, while production at the El Feel field has reached about 70,000 bpd, Reuters reported.

A further unnamed NOC official added that El Sharara is expected to hit its maximum capacity of 330,000 bpd imminently.
