A fruitful meeting between Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and Denys Toscano Amores, Ecuadorian Ambassador to Cairo, saw a positive exchange between the two countries. Oil companies from Equador are especially keen on investing in Egypt's oil and gas sector.
Seeking oil and gas collaboration
The representatives spoke on collaboration in oil and gas exploration, research, and production. Acknowledging offshore exploration as Egypt's forte, Equador also showed particular interest in Egypt's handling of domestic gas delivery, vehicle gas conversion, and the development of compressed natural gas fueling stations.
