The Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) has invited oil and gas companies specialised in exploration and exploitation to participate in the Egyptian international 2022 bid round
It includes 12 open blocks for exploration in Mediterranean Sea and Nile Delta according to production sharing agreements (PSA) model applicable in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Egypt Upstream Gateway (EUG) provides virtual access to all 2022 bid round basic information, including coordinates of the offered open blocks, data room viewing: seismic surveys, subsurface insights, data packages, as well as the procedures, main terms and conditions and the Model Agreement.
Companies can easily review and instantly purchase principal and optional datasets, which are available online through EUG Portal: https://eug.petroleum.gov.eg
Interested companies need to submit their offers based on the announced procedures, main terms and conditions and the production sharing model agreement applied in Egypt. The purchase of principal data package of a block is considered mandatory to bid for the same block. To participate in 2022 bid round, it is necessary for the interested parties to be an EUG member.
The closing date will be on 30 April 2023 at noon (local time).
