The US supermajor has taken the Perro Negro 6 for work offshore Angola beginning in the second quarter for an undisclosed price.
Saipem revealed the award amongst a plethora of other contracts which have netted the Eni-connected services giant around US$400mn.
Eni has itself extended its contract of the jack-up perro Negro 8 for another year, backdated to November, Saipem revealed.
