Glencore Exploration Cameroon has granted offshore drilling contractor Atwood Oceanics with a drilling services contract for its jack-up rig, Atwood Aurora
Expected to commence from February 2013, the contract authorises Atwood, for a minimum total duration of 200 days, to utilise three wells offshore Cameroon at an approximate day-rate of US$155,000.
This news follows on from April, when Atwood obtained from Noble Energy a similar offshore Cameroon drilling services contract for its jack-up Atwood Mako.
