Chevron is set to share the results of a recent project offshore Nigeria at the Offshore Well Intervention Workshop West Coast of Africa in Accra, to be held from 7-8 March 2018
Anthony Oyewole, deepwater production engineering supervisor of Chevron, said that he will discuss the success of a recent acid stimulation campaign using a multi-purpose supply vessel and the execution efficiencies and cost saving advantages over a conventional rig.
In addition, he will demonstrate the value of diligent data gathering and provide insights into a systematic, data driven candidate selection process. Further, he will share technical best practice to demonstrate how the diligent and rigorous application of lessons learned resulted in outstanding results.

Total Nigeria will showcase an acid stimulation case study discussing the vessel selection process to share lessons learned and results. Shell will analyse the success of the first Nigerian deepwater rigless Intervention campaign and how the technology provided a more cost-effective solution in a deepwater environment.
Eni will discuss deepwater rigless matrix stimulation job and highlight improvement of sand control techniques offshore Nigeria.
