The Liberia Petroleum Regulatory Authority (LPRA) invites investors, exploration companies, financial institutions and industry stakeholders to the official launch of the Liberia 2026 Offshore Direct Negotiation Licensing Round, taking place on 14 October 2026
The launch will be held on 14 October 2026 at CTICC2 – The Orchid, Cape Town, from 11:00–13:00. It will provide an opportunity to hear directly from LPRA leadership about the licensing round, available offshore opportunities, qualification requirements, licensing process and investment framework.
The round opens access to prospective deepwater and ultra-deepwater acreage across the Liberia and Harper Basins, supported by an expanding portfolio of seismic and technical data. Liberia has more than 50,000 line-km of 2D seismic and 31,000 km² of 3D data, alongside new frontier imaging and technical studies that are strengthening understanding of the country’s offshore petroleum potential.
