ENOC LUBRICANTS, A division of ENOC International Sales LLC, signed a lubricant supply agreement with Galana Oil Kenya Ltd (Galana Oil regional oil marketing company) to distribute its range of products in Kenya, including its environmentally-friendly products - the fully synthetic engine oils, Protec Green 5W40 and Protec X-treme Energy 5W30.

Saeed Abdullah Khoory, ENOC Group Chief Executive, said: “Our expansion to Kenya through the supply agreement is part of our long term strategy to expand and distribute our products in the African region and beyond. With a population of 37 mn, a lubricants market worth around over 40 mn litres a year and the exit of most multinational companies from the country’s oil Industry, Kenya offers vast opportunities for growth especially to local oil companies and represents over 60 per cent of the East African market.  

Galana Oil Company will stock and distribute the full range of ENOC Lubricants from synthetic engine oils, automotive lubricants and greases to industrial lubricants such as hydraulic oils, gear oils, compressor oils and other specialized products. ENOC Lubricants are promoted at various premium outlets and locations across the country and 13 Delta Service Stations owned by Galana Oil Kenya Ltd.  

George Kahira, Managing Director of Galana Oil, said the company is keen to pursue business growth through product diversification which offers new revenue streams. To support the lubricants business, a dedicated Lubricants Business Unit had been established within Galana Oil. The company has also partnered with courier companies for overnight deliveries in all major towns in Kenya.
