SAIPEC to boost diversity and inclusion with new feature

The fourth Sub Saharan Africa International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (SAIPEC) has added a new feature to boost the conference programme, which will serve as a platform to showcase opportunities and major achievements in the region

The new feature, SAIPEC WOMEN IN INDUSTRY, provides a unique platform for some of the finest minds of the oil and gas industry in sub-Saharan Africa to come together and develop solutions to build a diverse and inclusive oil and gas industry.

Few of the major focal points of the new feature are:

-Develop knowledge of how men and women can become a stronger force within the oil and gas industry

-Understand how women in Africa’s oil and gas sector are playing a more important role than ever

-Case studies and traits of women at C-level and how they are shaping and evolving the oil and gas industry

-Awareness of senior roles in the marketplace available and being acquired by women

-The important role that demographics, labour markets and consumer behaviour across industries have on the future of women in the global economy

SAIPEC will return to the Eko Convention Centre from 25-27 February 2020, in partnership with the entire sub-Saharan African petroleum industry.

Working directly with PETAN, the organisers will draw on their global resources to ensure that the event delivers to the needs of all stakeholders throughout the region.

Through topical debates and speaker sessions, the fourth SAIPEC 2020 will offer direct access to the primary stakeholders and major players across the entire sub-Saharan Africa supply and value chains. Across two days, speakers and delegates will have the opportunity to participate within business, technical and special focus sessions, providing critical insights into the region's hydrocarbon businesses.

The fourth SAIPEC 2020 is projected to attract more than 200 exhibiting companies and 6,000 visiting professionals from across sub-Saharan Africa, Europe, Americas and Asia.
