The Gambia National Petroleum Corporation has signed an MOU with Vale Media Group to co-host the Sixth Annual Upstream West Africa 2020 Summit, to be held on 17-18 June 2020 in Banjul, The Gambia, to mark the inaugural international upstream oil and gas event for the West African country
The Upstream West Africa Summit is an annual gathering for West Africa’s oil and gas leaders, who come together for a two-day, high-level summit gathering to discuss the hot trends and challenges facing the upstream sector across the prolific region of West Africa.
Combining a unique and refreshing event format that transcends the traditional exhibition and trade show environment, the Upstream West Africa Summit 2020 is not to be missed.
For two days, West African national oil companies, asset owning international oil companies and ministries of energy/petroleum from the region, will gather together for high-level 1-2-1 meetings, panel discussions, presentations and networking.
Now in its sixth year, the Upstream West Africa Summit has gone from strength to strength. 2020 has seen the region hotting up with event sponsors, BP, reported recent further success offshore Mauritania, FID being taken on the Sangomar Field development by Woodside and its partners, licensing round launches in Senegal, Liberia, Cote d’Ivoire and Sierra Leone the 2020 USWA Summit promises to be the best yet.
