The Oil & Gas Virtual Summit held from 6-10 July was the first-ever oil and gas week-long summit on-demand online conference organised out of Nairobi by Oleum
Opening with personal and professional perspectives from experts about the leadership role during a crisis, followed by a panel discussion with speakers and additional panellists, a format that continued throughout the week.
Hot topics such as climate change, local content, technology in oil and gas, and building careers and business were just a few of the areas covered full of useful content during these challenging times, providing ideas on how to build and extend on professional skills and strategies to implement that could potentially help your business or company.
An executive interview from Jasper Peijs, vice-president exploration - Africa, BP concluded the week’s proceedings and in addition to the presentations and panel discussions, two live Q&A networking sessions discussed various topics presented throughout the week, with many new connections made.
It was a week of firsts for the industry and the organisers hope that the Oil & Gas Virtual Summit participants benefited from some actionable and valuable advice.
