Meeting world energy demand and supply mix: The role of Africa

IN THE PAST 33 years, the Society for Petroleum Engineers Nigeria Annual International Conference and Exhibition has attracted over fifty thousand of E&P industry's greatest minds within and outside Africa.

Technical sessions are presented concurrently with exhibitions with a focus on all aspects of Energy Mix in the E&P.
For the first time in the last ten years, SPE Nigeria's flagship conference will be held outside Nigeria's capital in Calabar.
NAICE is the largest upstream oil and gas event in Africa, held annually in Nigeria, and attracts industry practitioners at all levels, as well as key stakeholders. NAICE 2000 is the industry's opportunity to learn, debate and challenge ideas to chart the right course towards a sustainable future for the indusry. This year the event will explore the critical role of investment, technology, legal and political framework as well as the role that national oil companies can plan, especially against the backdrop of the current world drive to reduce carbon emissions.
