Global ministers set to explore new manifestos for oil and gas growth

Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) will be held from 12-15 November 2018, discussing latest trends and opportunities that drive oil and gas industry

A new age for the oil and gas industry beckons, driven by a need to evolve into a collaborative ecosystem which adapts to changing industry dynamics becoming more defined by the role of digitalisation, people and global partnerships.

ADIPEC has long been recognised as a platform by incumbents, policymakers and business leaders who come together to put in place strategies and policies capable of navigating a number of new industry dynamics.

At the ADIPEC Strategic Conference, 12 Ministers will address the state of the global oil and gas landscape to over 10,000 delegates, discussing new manifestos set to accelerate oil and gas growth and address how we can set the foundations for a united and sustainable global industry.

The global oil and gas conference will hold ministerial sessions that include:

Rethinking global energy initiatives: leading and inspiring new manifestos to accelerate oil and gas growth

· View from the top: peak demand vs peak oil. Where is the industry at and who sits where in the equation?

· Short-cycle vs long-term production investment projects. Are we simply setting the scene for challenges in long-term demand and growth expectations post-2020?

· Embracing a lower carbon fuelled world. National, social and economic initiatives to inspire and unite future generations to adopt and build a more sustainable, inclusive carbon-free energy world.

· What geopolitical and economic factors can we expect to impact and dominate the oil and gas sector through to 2030? Are nations energy strategies starting to move them closer to achieving economic diversification and their environmental goals? Are renewed East-West trade routes and corridors unlocking new economic partnerships?

Building foundations and expanding collaborations for a united sustainable global energy industry

· Collaboration for a brighter, stronger, united future: the increasing importance of globalisation to meet growing energy demands and support the prosperous development of emerging nations

· Educating nations future workforces and encouraging careers in oil and gas: STEM education, oil and gas training, developing tech-savvy skills set

· Endorsing industry alliance between governments, associations, producers and consumers to guarantee market stabilisation for its long-term development

· The road to a low-carbon energy world and creation of new gas energy hubs: tackling mutual objectives and sharing gas and LNG best practices to achieve country and industry targets

ADIPEC will also hold technical conference programmes where subject-matter experts will share practical and applied knowledge on technology ranging from exploration to development and production of resources.

Some of the technical conference categories include artificial intelligence in oil and gas, E&P Geosciences, Development, drilling and completion technology, gas technology, HSE, IOR/EOR, operational excellence, petroleum advanced analytics, production facilities technologies, project engineering and management and others.
