ELGi Equipments, air compressor manufacturers, exhibited new innovations in compressed air solutions for various applications at Hannover Messe from 1-5 April 2019
ELGi Equipments showcased AB ‘Always Better’ air compressor series. The company displayed Air Alert, an IoT-based, machine-monitoring platform. On display were ELGi Equipments’ core products such as the EN and EG Series – energy-efficient lubricated screw air compressors, oil-free screw air compressors, direct drive piston compressors and heat recovery systems.
“With increasing investments in the region, we are excited about the air compressor market opportunity and we will be investing in expanding our presence. Additionally, high energy prices cause companies to move to energy-efficient compressor ranges,” said Dr Jairam Varadaraj, CEO at ELGi Equipments.
The global oil-free air compressor market, estimated to be worth US$3bn, is expected to grow significantly with increasing environmental and economic considerations.
At the AB Series launch, Varadaraj emphasised, “With increasing air pollution concerns and stringent environmental regulations, oil-free air is a top priority. But companies have historically suffered the constraints of high cost, poor reliability and low efficiency in order to have oil-free air.”
“The ELGi AB ‘Always Better’ series is a disruption in oil-free compressed air technology, offering customers a no-compromise, oil-free solution at approximately eight to 10 per cent reduced lifecycle costs when compared with prevailing oil-free technology,” Varadaraj added.
