Africa Energy week preview

 Africa Energy Week joins with 14th Gulf of Guinea Oil & Gas Conference (GOG) to create the largest forum to focus on African oil and gas issues

Held in Ghana this year, at the heart of the industry, this three-day dynamic platform will focus on three areas: Gulf of Guinea Oil & Gas, African Local Content and East Africa region.

After 13 highly successful editions in London, the high profile Gulf of Guinea Oil & Gas conference moves to an African location. Gulf of Guinea days will feature case studies from Nigeria, Angola, Ghana and Equatorial Guinea and Ministers and senior government representatives will speak to delegates about the business opportunities awaiting in this exciting oil and gas producing region.

Stategies for the future

The Africa Local Content Day will showcase strategies and implementation experiences from across Africa. Speakers and delegates will talk about sustainable economic development and social progress, job creation, capacity building, knowledge and technology transfer. Organisations will be able to learn how their business can benefit from national content initiatives in the locations where they operate.

The last day of this pan-African gathering is to highlight the growing importance of the East Africa region that is fast becoming one of the world’s most promising oil and gas areas. Major players operating in Tanzania, Uganda and Mozambique will update delegates on the potential of the region’s resources, the business climate and how companies can benefit from investment opportunities available in the region.
