Nigeria has plans to export four shipments of Bonny Light crude oil next month, boosting monthly exports to around 1.94mn bpd

A shipping list has revealed that Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) will transport four shipments of Bonny Light grade, excluding condensates, to the international market.

The country’s current export capacity is about 1.84mn bpd, less than 140,000 bpd allocated by the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) as the country’s export quota.

According to Royal Dutch Shell, each cargo will consist of 950,000 barrels of Bonny Light crude oil and the daily export of the light, sweet crude will amount to 127,000 bpd.
