SAIPEC to award best performing companies in oil and gas sector

On 26 February, the SAIPEC Awards will bring together the most prominent, market-leading and innovative companies in the oil and gas sector across the value chain to celebrate the developments and achievements of sub-Saharan Africa

The SAIPEC Awards present an opportunity to recognise the best-performing companies and individuals who have developed above and beyond and have inspired many new projects across the region.

The awards sponsorship provides a fantastic opportunity for participants to demonstrate recognition to those companies and individuals who are shaping the oil and gas industry across sub-Saharan Africa.

The categories of the awards include:

Breakthrough Technological Project of the Year

This category will recognise the year’s best new innovative technological development made across the oil and gas value chain that has and will become an industry-changing development for years to come.

Social Contribution and In-Country Value Project of the Year

This category focuses on the extra mile that a company has made to contribute to efforts made within the oil and gas industry, for the betterment of the environment, health, safety, security and community, ensuring that wider populous benefit.

Sub Saharan African breakthrough company of the year

This category recognises a company which has achieved above and beyond organically, in developing and implementing its strategy, creating an equal, diverse and inclusive environment for all in their organisation.

Sub Saharan Africa NOC of the Year

This category recognises those in the industry who have been at the heart of the region’s related activity in the last 12 months. Striving to deliver commercial and operational opportunities and excellence enriching the lives of the people within the country through the creation of new partnerships, leveraging existing partnerships and increasing market reputation, corporate governance, investor relations and public relations.

Sub Saharan Africa Executive of the Year

This category recognises the significant developments an individual has made through company performance, growth and change management. Increasing market reputation, winning new and existing deals with operation success and creating an enjoyable and ever-evolving, empowered workforce.

Sub Saharan Africa Project of the Year

This category recognises the positive importance a project has made on the company, the industry, the country, the environment and the people throughout who have helped deliver a world-class project to Sub Saharan Africa’s ever-changing oil and gas industry.

The Sub Saharan Africa International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (SAIPEC) will return to the Eko Convention Centre from 25-27 February.
