Asset integrity management specialist XPD8 Solutions has secured a maintenance contract for a floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel offshore Ghana

Over an 18-month period, the UK-based and private owned company will develop the maintenance programme and inventory data for MODEC’s TEN MV25 FPSO, which is operated by UK’s Tullow Oil.

Scott Morrison, project manager at XPD8 Solutions, said, “We have worked with both Tullow Oil and MODEC in the past and we look forward to continuing and building upon what have been successful partnerships.

“Our service is focused on improving clients’ asset performance and reducing costs through efficiency savings.”

In March 2014, XPD8 Solutions had announced that it had secured work to provide condition monitoring services with an operator in Equatorial Guinea as part of a US$6.72mn triple contract win that also included work with Wood Group, on behalf of Dana Petroleum, and Apache in the UK North Sea.
