Subsea services and technology products’ company Cortez Subsea has secured its first contract for offshore pipeline inspection work worth US$1mn in Ghana
The company will also perform commissioning activities using a work class remotely operated vehicle (ROV) for Microperi Marine Contractors, a company statement said.
Alasdair Cowie, MD of Cortez Subsea, said, “Over the past 12 months, we’ve made a significant investment in new equipment, technologies and staff ensuring we have the workforce and systems in place to respond to customers’ needs quickly and cost-effectively anywhere in the world.
“This scope of work in Ghana not only demonstrates our capabilities in the deepwater environment but also enables us to strengthen our on-going relationship with Microperi Marine Contractors and develop our technical expertise and abilities in the burgeoning West Africa region.”
