Australian explorer ADX Energy said the semi-submersible rig Southern Cross had arrived at the Lambouka-1 well location on the offshore Kerkouane exploration license, Tunisia.

ADX said the rig mobilisation was completed ahead of schedule and efforts will now focus on anchoring the rig and preparation for the commencement of drilling.
The Southern Cross is expected to spud the Lambouka-1 well next week.
ADX holds a 30 per cent interest in Lambouka-1 along with Gulfsands Petroleum (30 per cent), Carnavale Resources (20 per cent), Bombora Energy (10 per cent) and PharmAust (10 per cent).
