Energia Limited has announced that oil output has reached 5,700 bpd at the Ebendo field onshore Niger Delta
Felix Ofori, chief executive officer of Energia Limited, said, “We will add another 2,000 bpd in this quarter after completing the testing of Ebendo well-6, which should bring the company’s daily production to 8,000 bpd before the end of this quarter.”
He added that the company targets to achieve 10,000 bpd with the drilling of Ebendo well-7.
The project completion of Ebendo well-6 is also likely to aid another rounds of drilling of three wells - Ebendo wells 7, 8 and 9.
According to Ofori, Nigeria’s indigenous exploration and production oil and gas firm found the abandoned well in Ebendo in 2003, which was revived by operations through Energia Limited’s in-house technology.
