Bowleven has announced that it will not begin production from its Etinde oil project in Cameroon in 2013 as announced recently, but two years later

The chairman of the UK company's Cameroon subsidiary, EurOil, had previously said that the production phase of the project would start next year.

"Bowleven seeks to clarify that guidance for its Etinde project offshore Cameroon has not changed from the previously stated date of 2015," the company said in an email quoted by Reuters.

EurOil is the operator and 75 per cent stake holder of the Etinde permit area.
