London-listed Wood Group will carry out a topsides facilities maintenance contract for BP through its joint venture with Amílcar Nascimento
Wood Group Kianda would work on a floating production storage and offloading vessel which serves some of BP’s fields offshore Angola, Wood Group said.
Wood Group Mustang, Wood Group Kenny and Wood Group PSN will each work in Angola through the joint venture, with its general manager Ken McLennan saying the JV would be majority Angolan-owned.
“This reinforces our presence and long-term commitment to Angola,” he said.
