Tony Okonedo, media relations officer for Royal Dutch Shell PLC's Nigerian joint venture, said the new 97-km Nembe Creek Trunkline will have capacity to transport 600,000 pd from 14 flow stations in the Niger Delta to the Bonny export terminal in southern Rivers state.
He said the pipeline was part of an ongoing programme to keep SPDC's facilities well maintained.
