Esco's Prepzilla Millhog ID clamping end prep tool has only one mandrel with eight sets of clamps for bevelling, facing and boring hard alloyed pipes from 38mm ID to 219mm OD. Built for offshore use, this robust tool features dual-opposed tapered roller bearings, direct-drive gears, a rigid blade lock system and TiN coated T-15 tool steel cutter blades wit5h a proprietary chip breaker that transfers heat away from the pipe surface.
Generating 2034 Nm of torque at the cutting blad, Esco's Prepzilla Millhog blade is held by a dual-threaded screw which doubles the force on the clamping surface for added rigidity. Powered by a 2 HP air motor, this tool is suplied complete with all clamp ribs and pads, a hose and filter, lubricator, and a metal carrying case.
