AGR has been awarded a contract to provide well project management services to US-based Hunt Oil for the drilling of an exploration well plus one future option well located offshore Benin
Ian Burdis, executive vice-president of AGR, said, “AGR is looking forward to planning and executing the well(s) in Benin. This is an important award and in conjunction with other recent contract wins, strengthens AGR’s position as the premier provider of well management and associated services in North and West Africa.”
The contract, awarded to AGR’s Scotland-based team, includes provision of full well management, including rig sourcing, drilling engineering, planning, procurement, regulatory requirements and operational support.
