Actemium has announced a new multi-million dollar contract with BP Angola for maintenance of two floating production storage and offloading units (FPSOs) offshore Angola
Under the contract, Actemium will deliver onshore and offshore maintenance support services to two FPSOs in Angola – Greater Plutonio (Block 18) and PSVM (Block 31) – with scope for additional ad-hoc services to support BP’s operations. The work will be executed through the company’s Angolan offices and its Paris maintenance centre.
“Actemium is already a strong player in Africa, especially in Angola, where we have been present for nearly 16 years. However, our new agreement with BP represents an important milestone for Actemium in Africa,” Vinci Energies Oil and Gas commercial director Jimmy Neron said, adding that the company looked forward to working closely with BP by combining the leading capabilities, expertise and experience of both organisations.
The company has strong presence in African with offices in Cameroon, Nigeria, Algeria and the DR Congo and is working with FPSOs in the region such as ExxonMobil’s USAN FPSO in Nigeria and Total’s Girassol FPSO in Angola.
