Environmental waste management contractor TWMA has announced to deliver drill cuttings management services to New Age Cameroon Offshore Petroleum (New Age) in a two well, offshore drilling project
The work scope will commence in May 2018 with 20 TWMA personnel involved in delivering the project.
“TWMA’s proprietary solutions EfficientC® and TCC RotoMill® will be utilised with EfficientC deployed for bulk transfer and storage, and TCC RotoMill delivering at-source processing of drill cuttings,” said the company.
Under the terms of Central African country’s oil and gas contract, TWMA will support New Age in meeting its commitment to operate responsibly. The company and was selected after demonstrating the benefits of TCC RotoMill over conventional skip to ship operations offshore. The TWMA-developed technology aims to split drill cuttings into oil, water and solids, recycling the recovered oil back into the drilling process and safely disposing of recovered water and solids in accordance with legislation.
Speaking about the scope of work in Africa’s oil and gas fields, Andrew Morris, tenders and proposals manager at TWMA, said that the company focuses on delivering efficient drilling waste management solutions on an international scale, aiming to improve drilling efficiencies, enhance safety and commercial benefits to a new client.

In January 2018, TWMA signed a three-year contract with France’s Total to provide drilling waste management services in the UKCS with TCC RotoMill thermal processing technology.
