Golden Energy Offshore Service (GEOS) has announced that the Energy Scout PSV had entered into a spot contract with Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCO) in January 2019

The Energy Scout vessel remained on the contract with SNEPCO until recently, according to the company.

The company added that GEOS has now entered into a new medium-term contract with Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) in direct continuation and that the vessel will remain under contract until the end of July.

The vessel has already started the new contract, it said.

Energy Scout is a UT 755-L design and a mechanically driven ship/pipe carrier designed to meet the general market. The vessel is designed for field supply and ROV duties, equipped with four thrusters and DP two class dynamic positioning system and is ideal for offshore services. For the time being, the vessel has additional accommodation units and is conducting diving operations.
