GHANA WILL SHIP 13 additional cargoes of crude from its offshore Jubilee field by August 1, according to a loading schedule released by the state-owned Ghana National Petroleum Corp.

Four shipments totaling 3.6mn barrels have been transported since the offshore field began test production in November, according to a statement e-mailed recently. Major partners in the field include Tullow Oil Plc (TLW)Anadarko Petroleum Corp. (APC), Kosmos Energy Ltd. and Ghana National.

 

Tullow is scheduled to ship five cargoes of 950,000 barrels each during the period. Scheduled shipping dates are March 19, April 7, June 1, June 29 and July 24.

 

Anadarko is scheduled to ship three cargos of 950,000 barrels each during the period. Planned shipping dates are May 6, June 11, and July 16.

 

Ghana National will lift three shipments of 950,000 barrels on May 20, July 7 and August 1.

 

Kosmos, which has planned an initial public offering to raise as much as $500mn on the New York Stock Exchange, is slated to ship two cargoes totaling 1.9mn barrels.
